Build the matter around evidence, not emotion.
The firm’s current practice-area page publishes dispute work through negotiation or court representation. Its existing legal content also addresses property-purchase disputes and contractual disputes.
Start with a timeline
Identify what happened, who was involved, what was agreed, what went wrong, and the outcome you now need. Urgent deadlines or court papers should be flagged immediately.
Property disputes
Segwapa’s current website gives the example of a buyer who has paid but the seller is avoiding transfer. The site recommends gathering proof of payment, sale agreements and correspondence, and notes that legal action may be relevant depending on the circumstances.
Contractual disputes
Disagreements can turn on wording, performance, breach, payment or the enforceability of a term. Bring the signed agreement, amendments, correspondence and any notices already sent.
Negotiation, mediation, arbitration or court
The right route depends on the contract, dispute, urgency and available remedies. Segwapa’s current homepage includes mediation and arbitration among its legal themes; the firm can confirm whether either is appropriate after reviewing the matter.
Do not rely on a website form. Call the office directly on 011 027 1024 and mention the deadline / court date at the start of the conversation.
